MISSION
ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS nurtures youth ages 7-18, developing self-confidence, music fluency, creative life skills, highest standards of musical performance, and deep respect for others through our comprehensive education program.
We continue to listen and work together as a strong, singing, caring community to end systemic racism, silence, poverty, virus, injustice, loneliness, and hatred. We reaffirm the dignity and worth of EVERY young person, of EVERY human.
Every supporter is important to us.
AYS programs would not be possible without the generous help of foundations, government agencies, corporations, and individuals that support youth development and the arts. Major funding is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. Our programs are also supported in part by the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs and the Georgia Council for the Arts through the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly. Georgia Council for the Arts also receives support from its partner agency – the National Endowment for the Art
ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS of Callanwolde, Inc.
AYS is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with offices located at the
Church @ Ponce & Highland in the City of Atlanta, Fulton County, GA.
